The US – MX Business Association (AEM) was established in 1996 by a group of Mexican entrepreneurs who came up with the idea of teaming up to help Mexican business-people and professionals to achieve success in the United States, and to assist American business-people interested in doing business in Mexico.
1997
Started activities
AEM was certified as a 501 (c) 6 non-profit organization and started activities in San Antonio, Texas.
2002
“La Antorcha de la Amistad”
In 2002 AEM presented the sculpture of artist Sebastian,“La Antorcha de la Amistad”, as a gift from the Mexican government to the City of San Antonio in 2002.
2003
AEM Chapters
In 2003 AEM started opening chapters in Texas.
2014
AEM Binational Energy Committee
On October 2014 AEM Binational Energy Committee was created.
2016
20th anniversary
In 2016 AEM celebrated its 20th anniversary with a Business Summit in Washington, D.C.
